“ADAMS EDEN” was bought in 1987 by the current owner who being a lover of nature, set out on a lifelong dream to establish a game farm as well as an exotic parrot breeding facility. He started his mission by erecting game fences enclosing a large portion of the available land and populating it with various game, many of which will not be easily found elsewhere in the country. Simultaneously a variety of exotic parrot species from around the globe were introduced and a parrot breeding farm was established that went from strength to strength to become one of the largest in Namibia.

During the rainy season when our many ground dams are filled with water they are populated with a variety of geese, ducks and heron etc. that come to breed as well as feed. Even the magnificent fish eagle, pelicans and smaller species such as the king fishers are often seen catching their daily meal of frogs and fish.

Up until 2009 everything was available for private and invited guests only, but due to the large interest shown by the general public, it was decided to open up the facilities for everyone to view and enjoy.

In a very short space of time amenities such as high class self – catering chalets, a pool, lapa with braai and much more was built for utilization by our esteemed customers. Game drives were organised and our overnight/day visitors could now view and photograph our parrots, game fowl, turkeys, geese, ducks and also our beautiful al pacas all the way from Argentina and Chile.

Our latest addition to an already outstanding establishment is a high quality venue with breath taking surroundings that can accommodate 250+ people for every thinkable function/occasion including top class conferencing facilities.

Eden Chalets has a spectacular view of the awesome Auas mountain range, whilst the Seeis river snakes its way across our land to fill the Kapp’s farm dam merely metres from the chalets. EDEN CHALETS will live up to and surpass your greatest expectations.
